Unclenching that fist

A good night sleep does wonders. As does a healthy dose of self reflection.

I can objectively see an opportunity for blogging to be taught/assigned, and the value in it. We have a marketing project where a website or facebook design is the final outcome. Blogging could easily be added as an element here, giving students something to add to their newly designed social media creation. If it was constructed in a forum space where they could comment on one another, this would add to the learning experience as well as group dynamic.

Especially when one students reflections are strong, it may give others new ideas of how they might express themselves.

Looking through the coffee shop, I found many blogs spoken from a foreign voice compared to my own.

This could actually become something we send prospective students to, to get a more personal idea of what is to come. Could we even have an ongoing forum where new students can read blogs of the seniors form when they were in first term? Hum. I wonder about the "relatability" that might create between the terms? Having a glimpse of what that successful individual, who is about to graduate, felt and thought back then they were in term 1?

Embrace the technology, embrace the technology. I think I have my new Mantra.
